Cockroaches reproduce faster in high temperatures in summer. You may not know that the paper boxes piled up at home are the ideal place for cockroaches. Aaron Ashbrook, associate professor at Louisiana State University in the United States, pointed out that paper boxes are extremely attractive to cockroaches, and researchers even often use paper boxes as cockroaches in their experiments.

Why are cockroaches partial to paper boxes? First, paper boxes can be used as food and water sources, especially in moisture conditions. It can also absorb the feromone smell released by cockroaches, further attracting them. Matt Frye, an expert at the New York University of Corner, adds the groove structure of the corrugated paper box to allow cockroaches to hide in it.

Experts suggest that if you want to reduce the chance of cockroaches being out of no chance, you should avoid long-term stockpiling of paper boxes and regularly check and clean stacking places. If cockroaches are found to be tangled, the paper box should be removed immediately, and the gaps should be closed, and sprayed with anti-corrosion agents should be sprayed when necessary.
