The Times reported that Tottenham Hotspur is approaching activate the contract termination clause for £60 million, signing Nottingham Forest attack midfielder Morgan Gibbs White, and this ambitious deal is about to be concluded.

Gibbs White, 25, moved from Wolves to the Forest in the summer of 2022. It is reported that he is eager to meet the challenge under the new Tottenham coach Thomas Frank. Forest has agreed to sell Elanga to Newcastle for £55 million, and it will be a major blow to Nuno's side, who will return to the European arena next month. When Wolves sold Gibbs White for a base transfer fee of £25 million three years ago, they also set a 10% second transfer share clause.

This England international, who has also attracted Manchester City's attention, will become an important puzzle in Frank's coaching plan. Manchester City had inquired about Gibbs White before signing Serky from Lyon for £34 million last month. Meanwhile, Tottenham is about to introduce Kudus from West Ham for £55 million. The Ghana international has completed the physical examination and final details of the transfer at Tottenham's training base on Thursday.

Tottenham also remained interested in Brentford forward Visa, but it is unclear how the arrival of Gibbs White will affect the player who is eager to reunite with mentor Frank. Tottenham has cooled down its pursuit of Crystal Palace midfielder Eze this summer, and they have also discussed Bournemouth's Semeno and Leipzig's Xavi Simmons as attacking line options.

Tottenham also hopes to sign a midfield core and plans to introduce at least one more young player based on the signing of 20-year-old defender Yuki Takai from Kawasaki striker. Joining this summer also includes Bayern Munich 20-year-old striker Ter and Lons central defender Densor.

The investment in signings of more than 150 million pounds and subsequent strengthening will make the future of Christian Romero and Son Heung-min the focus. Atletico Madrid is reluctant to pay more than £50 million for Romero, while Tottenham valued the Argentine international at about £70 million, which is on par with the world's top defender. Although the Bedsheet Legion was already considering alternative goals, the pursuit of Romero has not completely ended.

Romero has returned to Tottenham base this week to participate in pre-season training, and Son Heung-min will also return to the team this weekend to interview Frank. The South Korean star, who has only one year left in the contract, is attracting the attention of Saudi teams, and the midfield combinations Bisuma and Bentankur may leave the team if they cannot renew their contract.
