Do not walk on solid wood floors with nails. Some rough, bulky and hard objects should not be placed directly on solid wood floors to prevent scratches. If this happens, they should be repaired in time. When placing heavy objects, try to put them aside, because this will allow the other floor to move freely so as not to cause the floor to arch. It is also necessary to protect the padding pad. In the rainy season when the humidity is too high, it is best to turn on the dehumidifier and air conditioner to dehumidify to control the air humidity. For wet floors, especially the first floor and basement, the basement needs to be prepared before laying the wooden floor. It is best to apply waterproof coating on the boards in advance when laying them.

Waterproof

Do not use mops or soapy water to mop the floor, as it will have a direct impact on the paint surface and the board (moist and moldy, dark luster, etc.). If you really want to mop the floor with a mop, try to dry the mop until 70% dry to prevent water molecules from penetrating into the floor and causing moisture and mold. If you accidentally sprinkle water on the solid wood floor, wipe it clean with a soft rag in time to keep it dry to avoid warping, cracking and mold.

Fireproof

Do not throw unextinguished cigarette butts and matchsticks onto solid wood floors at will, and do not wipe the dust and dirt on the floor with gasoline, so as to avoid static electricity generated after friction, which will cause fires.

Sun protection

Does strong and long-lasting sun exposure to the floor to prevent the paint from aging and cracking in advance under ultraviolet rays for a long time. Avoid household appliances blowing and baking the floor directly with hot and cold air. In relatively dry seasons, it is best to increase some humidity. The easiest way is to put a basin of water in the corner, or use a humidifier to maintain the moisture in the air to avoid causing the wooden floor to be too dry and crack when breathing. It is more appropriate to keep the relative humidity of the air between 40% and 70%.

Anti-dirt

Corrosive liquids, strong acidic and alkaline substances, such as toilet cleaning and kitchen oil removal agents, cannot be used to clean the floor; high-temperature liquids or objects are prohibited from being placed directly on the surface of the wooden floor to avoid damaging the surface. If it is ordinary dirt left by water-soluble substances, you can first wipe off the dust and then wipe it with a soft rag dipped in thicker tea. For cleaners that do not understand chemical properties, they should not be used at will to avoid unnecessary chemical reactions and causing floor damage.

If you have pets at home, remember to pay attention to their excrement, as it will cause alkaline corrosion to the wood, causing discoloration and stains on the floor.
