Manchester United former player York was interviewed by the media and talked about whether Chelsea should sign Ronaldo to compete in the Club World Cup.

York said: "Why not do this? He still has the ability now. Given his strength and ambitions, if Chelsea can build a tactic that suits Ronaldo, he is still an incredible striker. I don't think there is any reason not to sign him."

"He is better than all the forwards in Chelsea's current team. I can tell you that Chelsea is not the strongest in terms of the level of the center, so I can understand why Ronaldo is connected with them."
