According to Desky reporter Pretenberg, Maduaike has reached an oral agreement with Arsenal and will undergo a physical examination only after the two clubs have agreed.

The reporter wrote: "The negotiations between Arsenal and Chelsea on the permanent transfer of Maduaike have been launched as planned."
