Amorin: This victory must be put down immediately and return to the sense of urgency that you must win the next one
Q: Congratulations on winning. You have experienced a lot in the past few weeks, and today is also very difficult. How important is it to win this victory?
Amorin: "This victory is very important. I think we deserve it, but we are always creating trouble ourselves. We played well at the start of the game, and were excellent in aggressiveness, oppressing opponents, showing presence, and also led the fans. Of course, the opponent's goalkeeper was sent off to help us a lot, but we always controlled the game. We scored two goals, but when everything went well, the game was complicated by Casemiro's red card. The overall control in the second half was good, but the last 15 minutes was very difficult. The opponent scored a goal, and we could only fight together and finally won the game."
Q: Does the performance of the players show their desire for victory?
Amorin: "I think they showed this desire, but at the same time they also showed a characteristic: when everything goes well, we always create some difficulties. However, the fight at the beginning of the game and the competition for the second landing point all reflect our attitude. I remember that after we scored the first goal, there were actually many opportunities, three-to-one, three-to-two, and even the last pass was not handled when the opponent's goalkeeper attacked. If we were more decisive at that time, we could control the game better. But it is also a good thing to be able to bear the pressure together in the end. Overall, we deserve this victory."
Q: Bruno Fernandez completed 200 Premier League games and scored Manchester United's 100th goal. How do you think of his role in the team?
Amorin: "The most important thing is his influence on the team. Sometimes he is not the most core role on the court, but as the captain, his duty is to try his best to help the team become better in any situation, and he did. I think he can still play better, but in fact our entire team can still play better. But he is really important. He can show high quality near the penalty area and participate in the organization. He deserves all the praise."
Q: You talked about the issue of mentality yesterday. The team was under tremendous pressure in the last 15 minutes. How important is the psychological performance?
Amorin: "This is very important. Sometimes we show a sense of urgency and a desire to get results immediately. Today we won, but this victory must be put down immediately. Winning is of course good, but we must return to the urgency of 'must win the next game'. This is the mentality of the big club. Today is very good, but we cannot satisfy it. We must continue this urgency until next week."
Q: Have you seen the team's improvement in fighting and aggressiveness?
Amorin: "Yes, if you recall the game, especially the 11-to-11 start, you can feel this. We didn't create much exciting cooperation, and now we are not pursuing this stage. The key is to compete for the first and second points, aggressiveness and speed. Even Casemiro's red card is because he is too active. Of course, he could have done better at that moment and position. But overall, we have shown a strong desire to win from the beginning."
Q: Since you came here, the team's performance has sometimes fluctuated. Played well today. How do you make sure you can still perform like this next Saturday against Brentford?
"The key is a sense of urgency, the feeling of 'we must win'. Because the situation is very difficult at the moment, we must have this mentality when we play: there are no two results, no three results, only one - win. Either do it or can't do it. But that sense of urgency is not about tactical or technical ability, but about mentality. We must prepare for the next game with this feeling. In fact, this does not start from the game, but start from the next training."
Q: Have the Pope contacted you?
Amorin (laughs): "No, Sir Ratcliff is here today. That's just a joke! You like jokes like this, so don't complain! (laughs) You love listening, we will win again next week, I'll give you one more."
Q: You mentioned "inducing trouble", does this mean that players sometimes do too much under pressure, such as a foul that they shouldn't have?
"It's hard to say. Take Casemiro as an example, that's pressure. He has won five Champions Leagues. But sometimes I feel more pressure in some young players. Maybe it's because Casemiro cares that he had that tackle just after we scored. The opponent may have crossed the half for the first time, and we can't wait to grab the ball back immediately. So I think this is not entirely pressure, but they want to win and are too eager to do something at that moment. This is not a bad thing."
Q: Did you design the attack that caused the Chelsea goalkeeper to be sent off, such as using Mbeumo's forward run?
Amorin: "This is the result of a combination of multiple aspects. We know that Sheshko has a strong ability to get the ball in the first shot, and we can see the characteristics of Mbermo in the team he used to play. Every detail, every run, every touch, every forward insertion is very aggressive. This is exactly what we need, and we want to use what he is good at in the old club. These characteristics are very important to us. Of course, when we had to play long balls in the second half, Sheshko was not present, and we did less support. But overall, they did a good job. Now it's time to prepare for the next game."
